无盲区双色水位计，是我厂专为大型火力发电机组锅炉汽包水位监视而设计制造的就地仪表。如配套电视监视系统，可实现远程监测。本水位计还可以应用在石油、化工等其它行业的水（液）位监视。
Double color gauge without blind area was specially designed and manufactured for water monitor of steam tank of boiler in large-sized thermal generating set as site an instrument. When completed with TV-set, be able to realize remote monitoring. The gauge can be used for water (liquid) monitor in other industries including petroleum, chemicals.
本水位计观察孔在表体两条直线上，通过将观察孔交错组合消除了中间盲区。由发光二极管发出的红绿光，分别射向表体的观测窗，在表体的汽相部分，红光射向正前方，而绿光斜射到壁上被吸收；与此同时在液相部分，由于水的折射使得绿光射向正前方，红光斜射到壁上被吸收。因此在正前方观察将获得汽红、水绿；汽满全红、水满全绿的显示效果。
Observation holes of gauge are located on two straight lines of the body. After intersection and combination of light through observation holes, the blind area is eliminated. The red and green light given out from the light source inject to the observation window on the body respectively. In the vapor-phase part of the body, when red light injecting forward and green light inclining to wall and being absorbed, meanwhile, in liquid-phase part, green light injecting to forward due to refraction by water and red light inclining to wall and then being absorbed. Observation therefore from front is that water is green and steam red and reached display results of full steam shows whole red and full water is whole green.
